Waltham Abbey is a beautiful venue in which to make music. Regular concerts are given by the Abbey Choir and Choristers, and the church also serves as a venue for other organisations' concerts and recitals. The church boasts a beautiful acoustic, particularly well suited to choral and chamber music.
Weekly
'Music for Lunch' recitals are presented on most Saturdays during term time, and
are free of charge. Performers are of a professional standard, many in
association with the Royal College of Music
and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of
Music and Dance. The recitals take place from 12.30 p.m. to 1.00 p.m., with
refreshments served from 12 noon.
